The New Academic Year Began on a High Note at the Academy of Labor and Social Relations
Today, the Academy of Labor and Social Relations welcomed its first-year students who stepped into the academy for the first time. On this occasion, a special event titled “Introduction and Adaptation Hour” was organized for new students at the academy.
The event was opened with welcoming remarks by Abduxalil Salomovich Atamatov, First Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Academy. He congratulated the young people on becoming university students and wished them success in their academic journey. In his speech, he emphasized that the academy has quickly become one of the most prestigious higher education institutions in the country and provides education in accordance with international standards. He also stressed that academic and personal development, as well as compliance with internal rules and regulations, are among the main responsibilities of every student.
Following this, Azimjon Hakimjonovich Mirzajonov, Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, addressed the students. He spoke about the opportunities created at the academy to make students’ extracurricular time meaningful and to help them develop their talents. He highlighted various clubs, sports facilities, and the modern and comfortable conditions provided in the student dormitory.
Toir Sadullayev, Dean of the Faculty of Labor Management, familiarized first-year students with the organization of the educational process, the requirements of the credit-module system, and the procedure for earning and accumulating academic credits.
The event was also attended by Amirqul Karim, a well-known creative figure, beloved poet, publicist, and translator, as a special guest. The distinguished writer delivered an insightful and inspiring lecture. His thoughts on the challenges and rewards of acquiring knowledge, as well as his advice on becoming a true professional in the labor market, deeply resonated with the students.
For reference: In the current academic year, first-year students have been admitted to the academy in 10 of the most prestigious and modern fields of study: Economics, Human Resource Management, Management, Law, Occupational Health and Safety, Life Safety, Social Work, Metrology and Standardization, Accounting, and Psychology.
With great dreams and aspirations, they began their academic journey.
The first lesson was dedicated to the 35th anniversary of our independence and was held under the slogan: “One Homeland, One People — Together We Create a New Life and Future!”
